we Bring Computer Science to Life
The Academy’s after-school and summer classes bring computer science to life. Students learn to code through fun activities such as competing in robot sumo wrestling competitions and robot dance-offs, painting animals through coding, and programming characters in Minecraft.
AP CSP
6th-8th grade Academy students participate in an early Advanced Placement Computer Science Principles class (AP CSP), preparing them to take the AP CSP exam and pursue advanced CS classes in middle and high school.
Eligibility
Academy is a completely free program for 3rd-8th grade students at Title 1 schools in Los Angeles.
Location
Academy runs at our 9 Dots facility in Hollywood on weekends during the school year and throughout the summer.
