9 Dots Summer Kickoff
Welcome! We are so excited that you are joining us at Summer Kickoff. Summer Kickoff will provide you with the knowledge and resources you need to feel prepared for incorporating coding in your classroom this school year. Whether this is your first year or fourth year partnering with us, you will find this training to be relevant to your experiences and will meet your needs. Level 1
This session is for Level 1 teachers. Teachers new to the program will get an overview of what 9 Dots training will look like.
Level 2
This session is for Level 2 teachers. Returning teachers will get an overview of what 9 Dots training will look like.
Level 3
This session is for Level 3 teachers. Teachers will plan and prepare to teach 9 Dots as an independent teacher.
10:20-11:10: Curriculum Overview or Intermediate Programming: How to Create a Chat Bot

This session is for teachers who are new to 9 Dots or who want a deeper look at their grade level's curriculum. You'll start with a high-level overview, then work through coding challenges alongside your peers.

Build your own chatbot using Python! You'll apply real 9 Dots skills, functions, conditionals, and loops, to bring a hands-on, real-world project to life.
